Jaeger-LeCoultre

It was during the 16th century when the Huguenot Pierre LeCoultre found himself compelled to abandon his native country, France, being chased by the religious persecutions that were afflicting the country. He found shelter with his family in Switzerland where, when he obtains a status of inhabitant, he purchased a plot of land in the Vallée de Joux, creating a proper kind of village, Le Sentier.

The perfect symbiosis between the spirit of innovation, the technological progress and the tribute to the greatest tradition of Swiss Watchmaking, all combined with a laudable timepiece, has upheld the worldwide success of this refined brand.
