"I have always been fascinated by granite or marble busts, those effigies, whether of writers, inventors or philosophers, always immovable and commanding. Like mythical figures, from the depths of their silence, they seem to make the frenzy of the living sheer vanity. Unperturbed, they recall the wisdom of our forefathers. These busts seek to capture the essence and simplicity of their silence. Perennial, crystallized, in a just and wise pose thanks to the expert hands of master glassmakers, they are for me the glass paladins, continuing this ancient tradition as gladiators and theologians. The chromatic compositions, always unique thanks to the boundless Venini, palette are reconciled to the diversity of the souls they represent.
